✧ World & Magic System ✧

Ethernia is divided between magic users (the Sera'phim) born with Seraphium and those without it. The community is dependent on the powers of the Sera'phim as the world they live in can be a dangerous one.
Seraphium is stored within the body and does not refresh throughout the lifetime of a Sera'phim, they are born with a specific amount. Using it results in growing wings, until all Seraphium is used up.
Sera'phim with a lot/big wings are respected throughout the community because of their commitment and being overall blessed to have received such a high amount of Seraphium to begin with.There are rumours and old stories about Sera'phim who don't draw Seraphium out of their own body but the outside surroundings instead - at the price of it dying. They are called Dae'mova and none have been sighted in years.

Lumiel & Miriel

the inseparable prophecies

One can never be without the other! Or rather, they don't want to. Polar opposites but enjoying each others company way more than being around any other soul in Ethernia. High ranked because of their magic ability to provide prophecies, they take up two seats in the High Hour Council.Lumiel and Miriel have the same ability, providing prophecies. The enquirer needs to state the details and is presented with a wrong and a true prophecy. It is unclear how to determine which system, rule or logic causes one to be wrong.
Because the ability is so rare, they are not allowed (or willing?) to use the ability outside the activities of the High Hour Council, the driving force in Etheria's politics.Both of them have received a redesign in 2024!
